Potting Mix

Potting mix can be free draining or moisture dense. Creating your own mix can be the most rewarding as you can tailor the blend to your plant’s needs. Experiment using a combination of potting mix, perlite, coir, compost or slow release fertiliser.

Hydroponic Substrate

Perlite, vermiculite and clay balls are used to anchor a plant instead of soil. The container is permanently filled with water. Very popular for plant propagation. Top up water frequently.

Popular for growing cuttings such as Monstera, Syngoniums and Hoyas.
